Lovely to meet you! I've always been an animal lover, but as a kid my obsession was with whales and dolphins. My first pet was a sweet chow-chow mix from my grandparents named Tasha, and my second was a little red-haired guinea pig named Rosie.

As a retired field-service engineer, I am truly enjoying my new career as your cat-sitter. One could even say that spending time with your kitty(s) is therapeutic for me and the kitty(s). I love to play your kitty’s favorite games or just hang out in the sun with them.

Hi! My name is Lindsey and cats are my absolute favorite! I have a blind orange kitty named Croissant, and a sassy grey kitty named Ralph. I also have a black Labrador who thinks she is a giant cat. I love caring for critters and your pets will be treated just like my own.

Hi I’m Amanda! I rescued my tabby cat Mr. Toby in 2022 at a previous apartment where he was living alone outside. Mr. Toby is an indoor/outdoor kitty and living his best life sun gazing, bird watching, and exercising in our new home up in the mountains. We take daily walks together in our 1 acre backyard. We bonded immediately.

I am a life-long cat lover. I have always been smitten by their playful and curious nature, their stunning looks and most of all their “cat-itude”. After I retired from my job as an elementary school social worker, I started cat sitting. I did that for five years in Florida.

I have always loved cats and been owned by them all. My cats are my family and currently I reside with Tati and Tico (Los Espookys). They came as a bonded pair where Tico can’t be without Tati and Tati can’t be without me. I grew up in Longmont and am happy to be back, so I look forward to caring for your feline family and you!

Hi, I’m Corey—and I’ve never known life without cats. From childhood through adulthood, they’ve been my quiet companions, playful mischief-makers, and trusted confidants. At one point, I shared my home with three cats at once (yes, it was as chaotic and magical as it sounds). These days, I live with a white, blue-eyed beauty who keeps me on my toes and reminds me daily how every cat has their own rhythm and language.

Corey J

I’ve always been a cat person, and I currently share my home with three very special cats—Matzah and Frank, my two orange troublemakers, and Jax, a Norwegian Forest Cat who keeps everyone in line. Living with cats has taught me so much about their different personalities, needs, and quirks—and it’s made me passionate about caring for them in the way they deserve.

Amber Buck

Lovely to meet you! I’ve always been an animal lover, but as a kid my obsession was with whales and dolphins. My first pet was a sweet chow-chow mix from my grandparents named Tasha, and my second was a little red-haired guinea pig named Rosie. One year I came back from band camp to learn they’d both passed, and I didn’t have another pet for a long time. After returning home from grad school, my dad and I found a litter of four kittens with no mother to be found. Two were given away after a bit, and I raised the other two until I had to move away. I think this kind of kick-started my focused love for cats. Fastforward a few years when my husband and I were living in Brighton, CO, and someone told me they had a cat who needed to be an only child. We’d been talking about getting a cat “eventually” but this is just how the universe works with cats. Sometimes you suddenly just have one. And that’s how we got Lilli! We’ve had her for four years now and love her very much. And I truly love getting to meet everyone’s cats and caring for them when their people are out of town!

As a retired field-service engineer, I am truly enjoying my new career as your cat-sitter. One could even say that spending time with your kitty(s) is therapeutic for me and the kitty(s). I love to play your kitty’s favorite games or just hang out in the sun with them. I enjoy my kitty visits so much I have invested in a red-dot toy to engage with the more frisky kitties. I have known Sarah Hamilton since January 2020 when my family and I went on vacation and she took care of our kitty, Ragnar. We were very happy with her services, so much that we still use her today and I jumped at the opportunity to work with her once I retired. I look forward to taking care of your furry family member(s) as I would my own.

Laurel Van Driest

Laurel has lived in Longmont for over 20 year and is originally from Nebraska. She does not currently have cats, but shares two Akitas and a slightly barky Shiba/Chihuahua with her husband. In her spare time she loves visiting thrift stores and estate sales in the area. She often cat sits for her neighbor’s cat Trixie, and watches Trixie’s favorite program (Star Trek) with him (yes, him)! If your cats have favorite TV programs, let her know. Some of Laurel’s past kitties include Catriona, Ruari, and Koschka – all stubborn, playful, and very companionable. She loves visiting your feline friends and taking care of your home!

I am a life-long cat lover. I have always been smitten by their playful and curious nature, their stunning looks and most of all their “cat-itude”. After I retired from my job as an elementary school social worker, I started cat sitting. I did that for five years in Florida. I recently moved to Longmont, and missed kitty clients so much I decided to take the plunge and pursue cat sitting again with Ailurophile Cat and Home Care. Currently, my animal family consists of only my one kitty, Iggy Pop, who I found in a dumpster when he was teeny tiny. The things I value most in a cat sitter for my own cat, I strive to provide for client’s companions. I am looking forward to making new furry friends, as well as, meeting new pet parent clients.
