Lovely to meet you! I've always been an animal lover, but as a kid my obsession was with whales and dolphins. My first pet was a sweet chow-chow mix from my grandparents named Tasha, and my second was a little red-haired guinea pig named Rosie.
As a retired field-service engineer, I am truly enjoying my new career as your cat-sitter. One could even say that spending time with your kitty(s) is therapeutic for me and the kitty(s). I love to play your kitty’s favorite games or just hang out in the sun with them.
Hi! My name is Lindsey and cats are my absolute favorite! I have a blind orange kitty named Croissant, and a sassy grey kitty named Ralph. I also have a black Labrador who thinks she is a giant cat. I love caring for critters and your pets will be treated just like my own.

Hello All! My name is is Gemma Maginnis and I am a student at Naropa Univeristy who has found a deep interest in animal related therapies. My deep love for animals, especially cats, has lead me to want to take care of cats within my community. This love has been prevalent throughout my life, as I was an avid lover of stray cats and finding homes for them within my community growing up, or even homing them with my family. I am excited to take on this journey of cat care with Ailurophile!
Born in sunny Southern California (Hollywood, no less!), Devra has always had a place in her heart for animals, big and small. Even straight out of high school, Devra knew she wanted devote her career to the care and well-being of our furry friends: Devra earned her degree in equestrian studies in West Virginia before returning to California where she began her career in the field.
I’m Lisa. Originally from the Lone Star state, I have been enjoying beautiful Colorado for the last 8 years. My first cat came into my life when I was 18 and I have been a CatMom every day since. I have a big tattoo on my left arm of my ride or die calico, Willow. She was a part of my story for almost 20 years and had a different personality for all 3 colors of her fur, including a sweet little mean streak on her nose. IYKYK. I have spent all of my working years in customer service and look forward to meeting all of the wonderful kitties!
Heather is a local Colorado native who has always had cats. An animal lover to her core, when Heather isn’t working as a lash and permanent makeup artist in her office in downtown Erie, she can usually be found riding horses or spending time outside with her cats, Johnny Lawrence and Mikey T.
I have always loved cats and been owned by them all. My cats are my family and currently I reside with Tati and Tico (Los Espookys). They came as a bonded pair where Tico can’t be without Tati and Tati can’t be without me. I grew up in Longmont and am happy to be back, so I look forward to caring for your feline family and you!
Hi, I’m Kristen and I’m here for all your Boulder-based, cat sitting needs. I have over 30 years of experience with cat ownership and I have two fur babies of my own. I grew up on a farm with lots of different animals, but cats were always my favorite. I know how to approach shy cats—one of my own kitties is a feral rescue—and I am patient and kind with animals. I have informally watched my friends’ and family’s cats, and now I’m ready to go pro!
I’m Cate, a Colorado native who has grown up surrounded by animals, including cats. From having them at home to spending time with friends’ and neighbors’ cats, they’ve always been a big part of my life. Even the cats I pass on the street tend to catch my attention. I’ve always felt a natural connection to them and a deep appreciation for their personalities and independence. That love has turned into a genuine commitment to making sure cats receive the care, safety, and kindness they deserve.
I’ve always been a cat person, and I currently share my home with three very special cats—Matzah and Frank, my two orange troublemakers, and Jax, a Norwegian Forest Cat who keeps everyone in line. Living with cats has taught me so much about their different personalities, needs, and quirks—and it’s made me passionate about caring for them in the way they deserve.
Hi, I’m Adrienne! I’m a Mom to three teenage boys, a former Elementary teacher (18 fabulous years), AND an absolute CAT LOVER!! My entire life (besides my years away at college) I have been a cat owner, & usually an owner of multiple cats.
Hi, I’m Sarah! I have been a cat lover since childhood, and that love for these beautiful animals has only grown over time. I have owned cats my entire life and currently have three little fur babies; Niko who is a 2 year old Siamese, Bella who is a 7 year old Ragdoll, and Echo who is a 13 year old shorthaired tuxedo.
Hi I’m Noah! I was born and raised in Boulder County. I’m an avid sports fan playing hockey and slow pitch softball. A self proclaimed "cat whisperer", I have always had an affinity and love for cats. My family has owned several over the years and each one has felt more like a best friend or sibling more so than a pet or house guest.
Ailurophile Cat Sitting was born from Sarah’s deep love for cats and her firsthand understanding of their needs. After years of struggling to find a cat sitter service that focused on feline care, she created a business dedicated exclusively to cats. Drawing from her experience in cat rescue and veterinary care, Sarah established Ailurophile to offer compassionate, professional, and tailored services designed specifically for feline friends.
Longmont has a thriving cat community filled with pet lovers who recognize the importance of specialized care. Ailurophile Cat Sitting has become an integral part of this community by ensuring every cat receives expert, loving care in their home. Whether it’s daily visits, medication administration, or overnight stays, our services are designed to keep cats relaxed and stress-free while their owners are away.
At Ailurophile Cat Sitting, our philosophy is built on these core values:

To build trust and comfort, each cat is treated with the utmost care, love, and patience.
With experience in administering medications and handling medical needs, we ensure that all cats—especially those with health conditions—receive professional care.
We provide detailed visit updates with photos so cat owners always know how their feline friend is doing.
We care for your cat and look after your home with light housekeeping services such as mail collection and security checks.
“Ailurophile Cat Sitting is the best service I’ve ever used! My senior cat requires daily medication, and Sarah handles it flawlessly. The updates and pictures make me feel at ease whenever I travel.”
“My cat is usually very shy around strangers, but she warmed up to Sarah quickly. It’s clear she understands cats and knows how to make them feel comfortable.”
Unlike generic pet sitting services, we focus entirely on feline care, making us the premier choice for cat lovers in Longmont.
Our sitters are trained to administer insulin, subcutaneous fluids, oral medications, and more.
We offer a range of visit options, including short daily check-ins and extended overnight stays.

Lovely to meet you! I’ve always been an animal lover, but as a kid my obsession was with whales and dolphins. My first pet was a sweet chow-chow mix from my grandparents named Tasha, and my second was a little red-haired guinea pig named Rosie. One year I came back from band camp to learn they’d both passed, and I didn’t have another pet for a long time. After returning home from grad school, my dad and I found a litter of four kittens with no mother to be found. Two were given away after a bit, and I raised the other two until I had to move away. I think this kind of kick-started my focused love for cats. Fastforward a few years when my husband and I were living in Brighton, CO, and someone told me they had a cat who needed to be an only child. We’d been talking about getting a cat “eventually” but this is just how the universe works with cats. Sometimes you suddenly just have one. And that’s how we got Lilli! We’ve had her for four years now and love her very much. And I truly love getting to meet everyone’s cats and caring for them when their people are out of town!
As a retired field-service engineer, I am truly enjoying my new career as your cat-sitter. One could even say that spending time with your kitty(s) is therapeutic for me and the kitty(s). I love to play your kitty’s favorite games or just hang out in the sun with them. I enjoy my kitty visits so much I have invested in a red-dot toy to engage with the more frisky kitties. I have known Sarah Hamilton since January 2020 when my family and I went on vacation and she took care of our kitty, Ragnar. We were very happy with her services, so much that we still use her today and I jumped at the opportunity to work with her once I retired. I look forward to taking care of your furry family member(s) as I would my own.

Born in sunny Southern California (Hollywood, no less!), Devra has always had a place in her heart for animals, big and small. Devra has been a volunteer, then employee and finally manager at multiple animal shelters in both California and Colorado. Since then, she has been a veterinary assistant and technician working in the Niwot, Longmont, and Gunbarrel area. Heather has been a trusted animal/house sitter for 15+ years. She has experience caring for farm animals, horses in particular, as well as dogs and her favorite, cats. Her first cat, Gus, was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2019 at 13 years old. Over the following 5 years Heather and her partner Rob did deep dives into caring for cats with ckd (chronic kidney disease.) She has a strong understanding of the care required for older cats as a result and a confidence in administering subcutaneous fluid and medication that those years caring for Gus required. She’s excited to join the Ailurophile cat care team and start meeting clients and caring for your precious feline family!

My entire life (besides my years away at college) I have been a cat owner, & usually an owner of multiple cats. My family and I had the privilege of loving our first “baby,” Izzy, a beautiful gray and white feline, for 20 wonderful years. My family and I thankfully still get to care for and love on our other two cats Theo (13 years old) and Junior (5 years old), as well as our 9 year old Husky/Shepard mix named Ranger. Over the many years of being a pet owner, I have learned how to care for our animals medically; such as giving insulin shots, strict diets, eye treatments, oral medicines, creams, ointments, “pills,” etc.
I cannot wait to help care for your furry loved ones!!

I have owned cats my entire life and currently have three little fur babies; Niko who is a 2 year old Siamese, Bella who is a 7 year old Ragdoll, and Echo who is a 13 year old shorthaired tuxedo. I previously worked as a Registered Nurse until I decided to follow my true passion five years ago and make the switch into veterinary medicine. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and technician in both general practice and emergency/ICU settings, but have taken a step back to go back to school to get my formal education and veterinary technician degree. I’m excited to be a part of the Ailurophile team of cat caretakers and care for your beloved feline family members!
