About Sarah

Hello, my name is Sarah Hamilton and I’m the cat sitter behind Ailurophile. I love all animals and have always had a special connection with cats. I knew my passion for cats could thrive by developing a business involving the care of these lovely creatures. Before starting Ailurophile, I dedicated many years of my life working in the art field with a Master's degree in Art History. In 2012, I began creating my own artwork. You might not be surprised to learn that my preferred subject matter is CATS! Some of my paintings are featured below.

I live in Longmont, Colorado with all of my kitties. I've owned pets all of my life and gained a great deal of practical knowledge caring for them. Sadly, I've handled many cat illnesses in my life, but these experiences sharpen my skills as a professional cat sitter helping me to know when a cat may not be feeling his or her best. My experience as a cat sitter first began by taking care of friends’ pets. I also learned a great deal as a full time pet sitter for a company many years ago.

My cat sitting venture in Longmont, CO developed from high expectations when it comes to leaving my pets in someone else’s hands. It is such a relief when you're able to go out of town knowing your pets will be safe and happy in your absence. Even if you don’t own pets, home security is a concern and I am here to assist with that too.
